Serving as a law clerk for a major medical device manufacturer, Adam gained experience with patent litigation and post issuance proceedings, as well as IP due diligence and analysis related to mergers and acquisitions. He also has experience on the prosecution side, having prepared and prosecuted patents in the areas of chemical, mechanical and medical device technologies. Adam also conducts invalidity, freedom-to-operate and non-infringement analyses for clients.
Prior to joining the legal profession, Adam was an engineer with Interfacial Solutions where he designed and conducted polymer extrusion, photolithography and electrolytic etching studies. He is a named inventor on US Patent No. 9,551,072, which describes a method for depositing graphene in a solution onto a substrate by changing graphene’s solubility. The substrate can then serve as a carrier to deliver graphene in further applications, such as melt processing.
