Daidre Burgess is a patent attorney who focuses her practice on patent preparation and prosecution for both domestic and international clients in the chemical, biotech and mechanical technology areas. She also has experience with accelerated patent examination, patentability opinions and overall intellectual property portfolio management. Clients value Daidre’s appreciation for the business aspects of a project and her dedication to client service.

 

 

Prior to pursuing a career in law, Daidre worked at 3M’s Abrasive Systems division. During her time with 3M, she served first as a technical aide, performing testing and data analysis, and later as an advanced product development engineer for the Coated Abrasives Lab. She was a Green Belt for Six Sigma operations and led numerous cross-functional development teams focused on new product development, process improvement, and test method development. She is co-inventor on two issued U.S. patents: US6758734, US6846232
