Megan Miller is an International Patent Paralegal with Patterson Thuente IP and has over a decade of experience prosecuting both patents and trademarks in the US and worldwide. Before joining the Patterson team, she had previously worked at a large downtown firm, a smaller suburban firm, and a legal services corporation. Her diverse background has allowed her to directly work with a range of clients from large corporations to international and national universities, start-up companies, and solo inventors. The variety of her experience has given her an invaluable understanding of a wide range of different clients’ needs and preferences.
Megan currently focuses on all aspects of worldwide intellectual property prosecution and supports the firm by assisting in any way necessary to acquire and protect the intellectual property rights of our clients. She relies on her writing and communication skills in order to be clear and concise so clients can thoroughly understand the requirements throughout the prosecution process. Megan also serves on the firm’s Prosecution Procedures Committee, aiding in updating and maintaining firm processes. Her attention to detail and problem solving capacity fosters her efficient work style.
Megan values the diversity of her job and the tangibility of her work—seeing the inventions that she helped protect out in commerce.
