Charlie’s technical experience stems from his work in industry, including an assignment with a world leading orthopedic device manufacturer, where he completed an 8-month research and development co-operative internship, focusing on total knee reconstruction procedures. Other industry experience includes serving as a prototype test engineer for a power transmission company, working on mid-voltage transformers, regulators and switchgear, and working as an R&D engineer for a consumer product company, focusing on home appliance design and development.
Prior to joining Patterson Thuente IP, Charlie worked as a law clerk with the firm, gaining valuable experience and building the skills necessary to become a patent attorney.
